Nebraska Home Raised Beef 

Dead End Ranch Beef is 100% family owned and operated. The whole family helps with raising and feeding our cattle. Jake, which is the owner and a first-generation cattle rancher, has been in the cattle business since 2014 and has been a member of the registered Gelbvieh/Balancer Assoc. breed since 2021. He graduated with a Diversified Ag Degree. His knowledge and experience in cows, calves, and bull genetics help to raise cattle for our retail beef. We strive to continually improve our breeding genetics so that we can offer the best quality beef as well as breeding bulls.

Our cattle are grass-fed and grain finished to provide the most tender beef with superb marbling. We do not use added growth hormones or antibiotics in our retail beef. We use high-quality minerals and have a strict vaccination protocol to ensure the health of our cattle. We take pride in offering beef that is dry aged to make it more flavorful. What makes Dead End Ranch Beef so different?

1.Genetics: 

Our cattle are genetically selected for the highest quality beef we can provide.

2.Quality Beef: 

We do not use added growth hormones or antibiotics in our retail beef. We use the highest quality minerals and have a strict protocol for vaccinations to insure the health of our cattle.

3.Grass-Fed and Grain Finished: 

Our cattle are raised on grass for three quarters of their life. In the last quarter they are finished with a balanced grain fed ration. We feel this makes the best quality beef.

4.Dry Aging: 

Dry aging is a process of hanging the whole carcass in the locker’s cooler. Our USDA butcher dry ages our beef at a constant 32 degrees F for 2 weeks to give the meat extra tenderness and flavor.

5.Processed Locally: 

Our meat is hand cut by a certified USDA butcher here in Nebraska. Extra care goes into each piece of meat cut for you.

6.Small Town Care: 

We take pride in how we care for our animals inside and out. Our cattle are cared for from birth to the table by our family. Home raised beef from our family to yours!
